Bavette Steak Recipe

To make a simple bavette steak recipe, season flank steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the steak and sear until browned on both sides. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside. Reduce the heat to low. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the pan. Cook the steak for 5 minutes per side. Slice the steak across the grain into thin strips. Serve immediately.
