Promotional Boxes are shipped 3-Day, which should ensure meat is still frozen or partially frozen upon delivery. We ship products on Monday and Tuesday of each week, with exceptions for holidays that may fall on those days. Orders received after 12 noon MST on Tuesday will ship the following Monday.

Packages are shipped via UPS, Orders over $130.00 are shipped complimentary.
Each shipment will arrive in a recyclable box lined with biodegradable insulated foam and packed with dry ice. Inside the box, your meat will arrive frozen or partially frozen, individually sealed, in air-tight packaging.
Wagyu is a delicate meat and must be handled with care. Before you start to prepare it to be cooked, you should thaw your meat in your refrigerator. Currently Cross Creek Ranch Premium Meats offers 2 kinds of aged meat: Wet Aged and Dry Aged.
Unless a meat is labeled as "Dry Aged", it has been "Wet Aged", meaning that shortly after butchering your Cross Creek Ranch Premium Meat was vacuum sealed in air-tight packaging and placed in refrigeration. This preserves the fresh taste of the meat and ensures that, even after travelling through the mail system, your steaks arrive flavorful and ready to be cooked. Most commercially available meat is now "Wet Aged" as it allows producers to move product shortly after packaging. Typically a "Wet Aged" cut of meat has been aged 1 - 3 weeks by the time it gets to your favorite restaurant or local supermarket.
"Dry Aging" is a process that, until recently, was difficult to accomplish without a great deal of waste and risk of microbial contaminants. However, modern refrigeration technology and advancements in drying techniques have eliminated these risks and now you can enjoy the unique flavor and juiciness of a finely aged meat. After butchering, large primal cuts are hung in temperature controlled refrigeration units and allowed to dry for weeks. Due to the additional processing, refrigerated storage, and time needed, "Dry Aged" meats command a higher price than the typically prepared "Wet Aged" meats. Currently, at Cross Creek Ranch Premium Meats, we age our "Dry Aged" meats for 21 days before final packaging.
